Las Vegas Road Trip
Hey everyone,
What’s happening down there in Aussie land? I’m having an absolute ball over here. Just got back from Las Vegas a few hours ago and all I can say is WOW!! Unbelievable! I'm currently in Los Angeles for tonight and tomorrow night and then we head to Mammoth! Tomorrow I think we are going to head down to Venice beach for a while and maybe Hollywood. Not sure yet........
Anyway LAS VEGAS! It’s seriously nothing like what I remember from 11 years ago. It’s about 10 times as big as what I thought it’d be. I was under the impression that you’d be able to walk the whole strip in about 10 or 15 mins. It would probably take you all night. Haha.
Anyway we spent 2 nights there and it was absolutely unbelievable.
Nathan took 5 of us guys over and everyone agrees it was definitely a trip we’ll never forget.
I’ve never ever eaten so much junk food and there was surely a lot of beer drunk. So I’m sure I have already put on a few KGs. Hopefully that’ll change when we go to Mammoth and start eating right and snowboarding.
I did gamble a bit but not too much mum and dad…..so don’t worry, I’ve still got a bit of money. :)
We only really played blackjack. I actually understand it a lot more than I used to which is good.
At the end of one of the nights I was up about 50 bucks. So I played a $25 hand and pulled a 7 and a 4 I think. The dealer had something like a 3. So I doubled up and bet an extra $25. I pulled a 9……I was pretty happy with that!
Anyway the dealer flipped his other card and it was a 10………then he pulled a bloody 7. I was shattered….it was so unfair! The dealer was really good though……he tought us a few Blackjack secrets! That was good!
Weinerschitzel!!! Please do yourself a favour and never ever eat this stuff. Horrid take away place……everyone felt very sick afterwards.
Sorry for not going into details with the Vegas trip…….I don’t think Lou and Frank want to know about my shannanigans too much.
Okay better go now………I should get some sleep, or maybe head out to the pub downstairs. Not sure. I’ve only had about 5 or 6 hours sleep in the past two days!
Please start sending some emails my way…..I want to hear about whats happening back down under.
